It takes drive and commitment to design an exceptional living space. It is this drive that prompted Helen to return to school after obtaining a Master's Degree and while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, to pursue her life-long passion for creating beautiful interiors. She has applied this love of design to the creation of functional, fresh and fashionably vibrant spaces.
Helen believes that clients homes should reflect their personalities and lifestyles and is dedicated to helping each client fall in love with their space. This has not only gained her loyalty from returning client’s but has led to numerous referrals and an ever-growing presence on social media. Her industry experience and formal training allows her to work with each client to ensure unique, personalized, outstanding designs.

PROJECTS
MODERN FUSION
In a Toronto suburb where the streets are named after fine wine, this family home was designed and furnished with a fashionable hostess in mind. These clients requested an interior that would maximize seating and serve as a comfortable retreat for family members and guests. This high style interior exalts modern luxury and elegance through its refined finishes, minimalist accents, elegant materials and classic details. The design concept pays homage to juxtaposing textures, patterns and tones. A fireplace clad in stone along with custom millwork and fine textiles convey a toastworthy atmosphere of comfort and sophistication.
SCENIC TOWNE
Proof positive that a design consultation can occur entirely virtually with outstanding results! Helen selected pieces for this beautiful, bright Chicago townhome for a couple who appreciate traditional elements while seeking an updated contemporary aesthetic. Walnut coloured floors and beautiful tufted furnishings, along with pops of chrome and ethereal acrylic, cleverly combine old world charm with modern sophistication. Throughout all the spaces Helen designs, carefully curated colour palettes and finishes exude a fresh, in vogue approach to otherwise timeless interiors.
CHINOISERIE CHIC
It’s truly incredible the impact that sourcing just the right finishes can have on transforming and adding elegance to a space. With 10 foot high ceilings, this dining room demanded artwork that was large and focal enough to serve as a beautiful backdrop to existing dining pieces. The sourcing of these lovely Chinoiserie panels effectively transformed this dining space into a French Chateau. With a vision of artistic elegance notably found in a Parisian hotel, Helen brought her clients into a realm of sophisticated fine dining which they can now enjoy from the comfort of their own home. Watery blue hues in the artwork visually connect to colours in the open concept living room beyond. The result is a balanced and beautiful space that works harmoniously within its surroundings.
WELL TRAVELLED
The owners of this home wished for a space that could accommodate their extended family for games, gatherings and perusing albums and home videos of their travel adventures. They wanted to retain the traditional architectural details and moldings of the room, while updating its formality. This was accomplished by Helen through a curated selection of stylish furnishings and innovative application of form, finishes and colours, which dramatically transformed the space. Artwork and accessories reflect a family who travels, reads and has appreciation for the cultural arts. A fireplace and built-in bookcase house all the necessities for quietly retreating in the evenings.
FASHION FORWARD
We think a home should reflect the people that live there. This gorgeous space was designed for a fashion forward mama who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to make a serious design statement. While style was an essential factor, so was designing a space that would be comfortable for the whole family to enjoy. With plenty of seating and finishes that look exquisite but play hard, we think this space definitely delivered!
GLAM PAD
Carefully curated selections within this living room make a bold, yet sophisticated statement. Creative use of line was incorporated into custom millwork paneling, setting the perfect backdrop to showcase a luxe blue velvet sofa and fine brass accents. The balanced combination of textural upholstery and warm metallic finishes appeals to the senses. The result is a glamorous living room that tends toward modern, while having a timelessness that this family can appreciate for many years to come.
IN VOGUE
Why settle for blasé? This bathroom was completely reimagined to create a bold, fashion forward space. Black and white geometric tiles coordinate with a lovely high contrast black and white custom constructed vanity. Chrome, brass and black metallic finishes were expertly balanced throughout this space to provide sophistication and visual interest. Just like a well put together haute ensemble, these statement materials came together to create a stunning composition.
BLISSFUL KITCHEN
These amazing clients wanted their long awaited kitchen renovation to reflect their exquisite modern style. They were interested in incorporating curated features that were design forward, yet would stand the test of time. A fluted millwork canopy was constructed to serve as a central focal feature, drawing the eye and anchoring the space. Softer lines offered by airy halo pendant lighting float within the space without obstructing the kitchen beyond.
BOUTIQUE STYLE
In this transitional modern living - dining room, a bold wall sculpture sets the stage for a unique dining experience. Not only does this stunning gilded accent serve as a conversation piece, it adds symmetry and sophistication. Whether my clients are entertaining friends or enjoying dinner with family, this room is as functional as it is beautiful.
HOLLYWOOD ABODE
Reminiscent of Hollywood Regency style, opposites attract with a creative blend of straight lines and sculptural curves layered into this bright, beautiful living room design. Bold black and serene white act as diverse elements which contribute to a motley and unique composition. Brass hardware contrasts black metallic finishes, together adding warmth and sophistication. The result is a place of balance and beauty, in harmony with its surroundings.
